Hardwood floor designs and floor plans

Many consumers of hardwood floor products sometimes prefer to build their own floor plan design then purchase a floor and start building patterns. For example, you may want to map out your pattern on paper or a blueprint before implementing the design. If it looks good on paper it likely will look good in your living room, kitchener, bathroom, or whatever other place you may wish to install your hardwood floor.

When is it a good idea to use a floor plan or design?

Sometimes when you are installing your hardwood floor, your room type may differ. You may have a hard time installing the same length planks all around the room - perhaps it is a circular room or one with window ledges that make it difficult to size the wood accurately. This is a situation in which you may want to map out the floor design before putting it down.
